8 Mortgage Events To Consider in Q3 and Q4 2025

8 Mortgage Events To Consider in Q3 and Q4 2025

As the year flies by, it’s important to prioritize the things that are important to you. Getting events on your calendar now helps you protect those happenings. This way, even as life’s busyness marches on, you’ve carved out spaces to do what matters to you.

If that’s networking with other mortgage professionals, learning about the latest trends in the industry, or staying on the leading-edge of mortgage innovations, we’ve got some suggestions. In the second half of the year, eight mortgage events give you the opportunity to do all of that and more.

As you go through this list of events, put down a calendar hold for any you’d like to attend. That way, you can make these enriching, educational opportunities a priority in Q3 or Q4 of 2025.

Q3 2025 mortgage events

Q3 mortgage events span the country. Whether you want to stick to either coast or you’re looking for something more centrally located, you’ve got options. July might be slow, but August and September both have three events a piece worth having on your radar.

#1: California Mortgage Expo

August 7 , 2025 | Marriott La Jolla, San Diego, CA

An event focused on mortgage origination professionals in the Golden State, the California Mortgage Expo brings together industry leaders for networking and learning opportunities. Expect an exhibit hall and education sessions, plus the opportunity to renew your Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) license. Registering for this event covers the cost of the eight-hour renewal course, which you can complete during the event.

If you can’t make this San Diego event and you’re a mortgage origination pro in California, fear not. This expo travels. You can also hit the California Mortgage Expo in Oakland on September 10, or in Pasadena on November 11.

#2: Western Secondary Market Conference

August 11–13 , 2025 | Terranea Resort, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

This event brings together industry experts and pioneers to talk all things secondary mortgage market. From networking opportunities to panels focused on market trends and digital transformation, there’s plenty to learn.

And the oceanfront location on the bluffs of Rancho Palos Verdes doesn’t hurt, either. If you work in the secondary market, this is definitely one to watch.

#3: Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals Annual Convention & Tradeshow

August 14–17, 2025 | JW Marriott & The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes, Orlando, Florida

Since 1960, the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP) has been on a mission to advance the interests of mortgage professionals in the Sunshine State. One of the core ways the FAMP lives out that mission is through its annual convention and tradeshow.

This year’s event will be held in Orlando. It gets started with the FAMP’s signature annual golf tournament, then leads straight into a tradeshow where exhibitors will be showcasing the latest in the mortgage industry. To get an idea of what to expect, you can check out the tradeshow’s floor plan

#4: Texas Mortgage Roundup

September 4, 2025 | Doubletree By Hilton Dallas Richardson, Richardson, TX

The Texas Mortgage Roundup travels the state. In Q3, it stops in the Dallas area (in Richardson, specifically). The self-proclaimed top gathering for mortgage pros in the Lone Star State, this event focuses on supporting mortgage origination professionals. It offers help with everything from navigating regulatory updates to sales and marketing tactics to keep your pipeline filled.

If you need your 8-Hour NMLS Renewal Course, you can get it at this event, too.

If you can’t make the Dallas iteration of the event, there’s one more Texas Mortgage Roundup later in the year. On November 4, the Roundup makes a stop in Houston at the Crowne Plaza Houston Galleria.

#5: Digital Mortgage

September 15–17, 2025 | Loews Coronado Bay Resort, San Diego, CA

Technology is transforming the mortgage industry. Will you keep up? Or, better yet, keep ahead of the curve? For help there, this event brings together innovators, executives, and other thought leaders to discuss the future of the mortgage industry. Expect conversations about digital closings, AI, and more.

#6: Compliance and Risk Management Conference

September 28–30, 2025 | Grand Hyatt Washington, Washington, DC

Backed by the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), this event brings in regulators and representatives from government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) and government agencies. This gives you the opportunity to hear the latest trends and requirements straight from the people who know them best.

And for attorneys and accountants who attend, it features the chance to earn CLE and CPE credits, too.

Q4 2025 mortgage events

Q4 is understandably a little slower for mortgage events. While things drop off in November and December to allow folks to be closer to home for the holidays, there are still a couple of events worth your consideration. That’s particularly true if you’re a fan of Vegas.

#7: NAMB National

October 17–20, 2025 | Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, NV

The National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) is a leading voice in the mortgage industry. And they’re bringing their annual event back to Caesars Palace for 2025.

While the NAMB hasn’t yet released an agenda for this 2025 mortgage event, past years can tell us what to expect. It should bring together a wide range of notable speakers on informative topics plus a big selection of exhibitors, along with some fun nighttime activities. Whether you’re looking to learn, network, or enjoy yourself in Vegas with your industry peers, this one’s worth putting on your calendar.

#8: Mortgage Bankers Association Annual Convention and Expo

October 19–22, 2025 | Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV

If you’re keen to stay on the Strip for a few more days, stick around for the annual event from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). The group claims that MBA Annual25 will be the country’s biggest annual gathering of real estate finance professionals. Expect networking opportunities, a solid list of speakers, breakout sessions on trending topics, and exhibitors.

Clearly, you have no shortage of options if you’re looking to attend a 2025 mortgage event. Whether you want to hear from regulators, learn about the latest tech trends, or even renew your NMLS license, these happenings have you covered.
